The Honey Farm destination in Texas is the ideal place to test out the waters of tiny house living. The Acorn is one of their most popular tiny tree house homes ideal for enjoying for your next getaway. A multi-level home features a unique spiral staircase with natural elements, a spectacular bathroom including a soaking tub and a tiled shower, and large deck with beautiful views.

When you step inside The Acorn, you are met with a lovely nature inspired home. A spacious living area features unique additions that bring the outside in.
The table fits around a tree beautifully to create a look like you are living in an actual real tree house. Other natural additions include the pieces of nature in frames as art, and of course, the natural wood accents throughout the home.
My favorite addition that is just lovely and truly unique is this functional art on the ceiling. Wood pieces arranged perfectly hold the wiring for these lovely hanging bulb fixtures. Such a unique look! It’s functional art at its best!
One of my favorite parts of this home is the cozy hanging bed seating area. This is large enough to use for a nap or even a night sleep with the wood stove next to it for warmth, but also just a cozy place to cuddle up with a favorite book.
The dark teal against the natural wood and tile of this space is so beautiful. Add in the hexagon window, the stunning fixtures, and some fun pillows, and you have a true storybook experience.
The kitchenette space is small but works great for basic needs. A refrigerator keeps snacks handy, and the owners have provided you with everything needed to whip up basic meals or to simply enjoy a picnic on the deck if you prefer.
I love the floating shelves and the unique drawer fronts. The style here is a little bit classic farmhouse and a lot unique storybook treehouse hodge podge.
The bedroom is another oasis of comfort. With tall windows on one side and beautiful light curtains to add a bit of privacy, it’s the perfect place to wake up in the morning. A cozy bed is comfortable and the netting adds a rustic feel that is useful but can be moved out of the way if wanted.
You’ll love the little vintage additions lie unique lighting, an retro styled Victrola, and vintage styled seating and tables. So lovely and cozy!
Perhaps my favorite part of this treehouse tiny home is the gorgeous bathroom space. Your bedroom and bathroom flow into each other beautifully. While the glass enclosed shower is open to the bedroom, you do have curtains to pull around for privacy if desired.
Absolutely stunning tile work inside the shower makes you feel like you are stepping into a luxury spa. There is even a lovely little wooden seat just inside the open archway door from the bathroom to the shower.
As you can see, the tile work goes up to the ceiling and keeps this shower easy to clean. A rainwater style shower head adds to the spa experience and definitely adds to the style and functionality of this treehouse.
Tucked into the corner of the bathroom is the simple open style vanity. I love that tile is is found throughout this home. It makes cleanup super easy. The Edison light fixtures above the vanity bring in that classic vintage look, but also add a little bit of a steampunk appeal to the space.
Don’t fear, you also have a cozy soaking tub if you prefer. This space is surrounded by wood, unique accent items, and tons of twinkling lights hanging overhead. It’s the perfect place to relax after a long day.
I love that this tree house is multi-leveled. The top floor is where you’ll find that comfy little hanging bed for relaxing. The best part of this space is that it includes an interior heating source, but also is close enough to the deck that you can have a cool breeze outside on hot days.
Inside this space you also find a lovely little hanging papasan chair that is great for checking out the view. An overhead fan keeps the air circulating and the space perfect any time of year.
If you want to be completely outside, you can take advantage of the chairs and table on the open deck for an evening cup of tea, coffee in the morning, or a mid-day picnic.
