Modern, classic, luxurious, and comfortable are just a few of the words I would use to describe the Laguna Beach hut from Handcrafted Movement. This tiny home on wheels features two large lofts, a private bedroom, a sizable kitchen, a dining nook, and luxury elements throughout.

Step right into the tiny home with a lovely tiled entry alongside the hardwood flooring. Luxury from the moment you set foot inside the Laguna.
Modeled in an open and airy style that reminds you of a beach hut you might find on the always beautiful Laguna beach, this tiny home has white shiplap walls, white ceilings, gold and brass accents, matte black fixtures, and a combination of seafoam green and light blue to bring in that look of the ocean.
Inside the front door to the left is a simple storage cabinet with a television below the loft and next to the barn door opening into the private “flex room”. This room can be used for a bedroom, office, or play room.
In the foreground, the kitchen is against the right hand wall with a full-sized refrigerator, electric range, and counters with a deep white farmhouse sink in the light blue cabnets.
The door slides over to give the flex room privacy from the rest of the home. This could be a master bedroom, home office, or kids room easily.
You’ll notice that while the walls are tall, there are not a lot of things cluttering the space so it gives it a nice larger and open feeling. Plus, the seafoam green accent beams really add that beachy vibe you love.
A small built-in cabinet holds not just the television but also has room for decor or storing books and movies or music. Plus, there are cabinets on the bottom that readily hide away things like games, extra linens, or remote controls when not in use.
There isn’t a large space for a living room in this home, but between the kitchen cabinets and the bedroom space, you have room for a few chairs or a small loveseat. This would also be a great place for a futon sofa that could fold down for additional seating or sleeping space.
A ladder fits easily in place between the railing openings to make it easy for you to climb up to the loft. This space is open to the rest of the home and could be used for a “bedroom’ or can be used for storage. There is room for a queen-sized bed with a bit of room to spare, so ideal for sleeping, but could also become a reading nook, kids play area or even another home office space.
Downstairs in the private flex room, there is room for a queen-sized bed or a twin with room to spare. It has one solid blank wall, and two with windows, plus the front wall with the door opening.
On each side of the far wall, window is these unique wall sconce lights. They add a very tiki bar vibe to the room that I love!
Looking out the bedroom door you see the remainder of the house with a good view into the storage cabinet to the right of the door. It looks like it even has a little fake brick background painted to match the green found in the rest of the home.
The far end of the home shows the opening to the bathroom space. In the middle is the kitchen and dining nook, and of course, the front entry door is just the right in this image. Plus, you get another nice look up at the loft above the bathroom and storage space.
I really love that this layout has the dining space already built into the home. There is room for two chairs, but perhaps three to four depending upon the size of the person and what is on the table.
The edge of the stairwell up to the loft has a unique open design with room for a bench seat for the table, or just to look lovely and open for seeing up as you walk to the top.
The stairs here are not storage units like often found in tiny homes, but do have an open space beneath the base that we will see in a few images below.
The rail on the side is nice for those who need a bit of help going up. WHile not exclusively designed for that purpose, it has enough places to hold that even if you are a bit unsteady, you should be able to move up and down these with ease and safety.
I love the curved edge on this loft. It’s just super unique to the home and keeps that ocean and beach vibe throughout the home. This loft, much like the first one, can fit a queen-sized bed easily with some room to spare.
Looking down from the loft you get a better idea of the bench seat at the dining nook below as well as the depth of the kitchen counter and cabinets.
Underneath the stairs to the loft is open for storage, but you also have washer and dryer hookups here along with that black matte bar above for hanging clothing.
At the back of the home are the vanity and bathroom sink. This is open to the rest of the home, but the toilet and shower are just to the left behind a closed door.
I personally love the open space for this so if someone is using the bathroom, someone else can be getting ready or brushing their teeth without invading privacy.
You have not just these deep drawers below the sink, but also an open nook with a rod beside for hanging towels or even clothing. Plus, there is a room above on the shelf and on the counters for storage. And, I love the blue tile work here that keeps with that beach hut vibe we love.
The flush toilet is just inside the door to the left of the sink with open space above should you want to add more storage for towels and toiletries.
And across from the toilet is the simple shower stall. While this does have some small shelves built into the unit, I would want more space for a basket or storage nearby.
