The Rocker is a stunning tiny home space built for renowned violinist Asha Mevlana and has all of the artistic style you would expect. This 400 square foot home has a lovely loft bedroom, large kitchen, comfortable living space and a truly unique tiny recording studio. You’ll love every nook and cranny of this unique home.

The first thing I noticed in this home was the large rolling garage doors on both the living space and the recording studio. While these are both fully functional to open up the space to the outdoors, they are also perfect for adding natural light in the home.
The narrow but tall living area has plenty of room for a full sized sectional couch. There is not just the large door in front, but a nice sized window in the back offering light and views on both sides.
A unique addition in this home is that many aspects are built in to suit the needs of the musician owner. The unique coffee table also doubles as a storage system for a computer, sound system, and monitors. It makes the perfect work at home desk.
While the walls may be white, the room has tons of various blue accents that make it homey. Sleek and clean modern lines pair well with the artists own finishing touches.
Beautiful wood floors are a lighter color in a grey tone that compliment the blue accents nicely. As you look toward the kitchen, you find a large space ideal for the home cook.
A large L-shaped kitchen counter includes the stove, sink, bar for dining, and tons of additional cabinets for storage. The upper cabinets add more room for storage and use the added wall space for functional use while remaining sleek and neat.
On the back wall, there are tall cabinets that double as a pantry and are built around the refrigerator which is a full sized appliance that readily fits into the small space.
As expected in an artists home, the little additions are really what make this tiny home shine. A lovely wooden box is fitted for not just decor, but functionality. Hooks around the edges are ideal for holding your favorite pots and pans within easy reach. The bicycle wheel style crank just adds to the character of this piece and the kitchen!
The owners added the dishwasher for convenience, but you could customize your own tiny home without for added storage. Of course, I love the ample countertops for all of the regular needs I reach for, but you may prefer more storage on the walls and clutter free counters.
One of the best parts of this home comes in the loft bedroom. It is neatly hidden around a corner with a simple ladder leading up behind a wall. I love that this little space is out of the way and offers a second level of privacy for the bedroom.
This is a great place for added decor, shelving, or those finishing touches that make the space truly feel homey.
As you head up to the loft, you’ll find this nice open space has plenty of room for a large bed with finishing touches that match the rest of the home and it’s unique style. This is a small bedroom, but the higher walls around the room make it a great choice for those wanting added privacy.
One of the true luxuries in this home is the incredible spa bathroom. The extra large tiled shower is stunning, and the added wood accents make it even more inviting. They spared no expense in this area. Everyone wants an oasis in their home, and this spa bathroom is the one for you.
Now, some would say this next part of the home is the true prize, and I would agree. This added 160 square feet added to the side of the tiny home is the ideal space for any buddy or experienced artist.
The owners turned this into a recording studio, but you could also make this your paint, yoga, or writing studio if desired. The space is open and inviting while being just separate enough from the rest of the home to allow privacy needed for your work.
Asha Mevlana is featured in this image showing her favorite part of the mobile recording studio. Just check out this fun addition that she can pull along anywhere she needs to go!
Not only does it match the overall theme of the rest of The Rocker, it has that one great accent everyone is wowed by the first time they see it.
That accent is the stunning giant amp as part of the exterior wall! Does it function? Well, I don’t know if it functions as a regular amp or not, but I do know that it has tons of style and may be my favorite part of the home.
The deck around the home is a lovely added touch that just screams late evenings sipping tea on the deck. With a large deck and a nice sized awning, it’s a perfect place to relax after a long day at work.
Of course, this image is my favorite of all the ones shown. At the eve of dusk, the lights on the exterior and interior brighten the space making it glow as the dark descends over the home.
There is something uniquely inviting about this home that pulls you in to enjoy a weekend getaway, or a minimalist life in a small space.
