Experience nature, belonging, and freedom at ZiegenVine Homestead. A 103-acre farm in Savona, NY offering Goat Yoga and farm animal encounters May-September, this is the ultimate tiny home destination!

I love finding unique tiny home adventures on HIpCamp, and this little cabin on a homestead is one of many that is just brilliant and idea for the off-grid loving family.
Nestled among the trees on the ZiegenVine Homestead, this private cabin is just what you would imagine if you went back in to the 1800s. A simple building with one main room, it’s cozy and basic, but ideal for getting away from the busy world around us.
They state on the listing:
Nature, belonging and freedom is a gift everyone deserves, so it’s our mission to share our blessings humbly and earnestly with all. At ZiegenVine Homestead, we promise to provide a simple, cheerful, beautiful property where you can experience life outdoors and nature in its true glory.
As soon as you enter the property, you will find the beauty astounding, but it’s once you set foot into your cabin that the real relaxation begins.
As you see below, it truly is like an old-fashioned cabin. There is no electricity or plumbing. The basic room has a bed, a few rocking chairs, 2 storage cabinets, and a wood stove.
The owners, Randy and Allison, happily help you with cooking utensils to use over the wood stove or on the firepit outside, but you can also head a few miles down the road to find restaurants for your meals.
In the summer months, windows on all sides bring in plenty of daylight and can be opened for a summer breeze, but in winter months you will love the wood stove!
While it’s basic, it is comfortable. They keep the cabin clean and you are offered fresh linens when you arrive. You can, of course ,bring your own additional supplies.
There isn’t a bathroom or kitchen in this one room cabin, but you have a few shelves, drawers, and cabinets for storing snacks, supplies, or clothing.
An outhouse is setup in a central location for anyone to use. We know it isn’t modern at all, but it does the trick when needed.
When they say it is rustic, it truly is, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be comfortable and welcoming.
If you book your stay at this cabin in the woods, you should know in advance that it is not luxury and you will be “roughing it”. There are places to park and RV, rent a cabin, or even pitch a tent on this property. It’s designed for you to get back to nature and reboot.
And, for the animal lovers in your family, goat yoga is sure to be a hit! Throughout the property, you will find a combination of goats and free-range chickens. They are so much fun and really add to the “homestead” vibe of the location.
