Step through the beautiful French doors on the side of this tiny home and you enter a luxury rustic home that has absolutely breathtaking wooden accents. Immediately in front, you find the stairs to the loft with the loft floor as the ceiling to the kitchen in that gorgeous woodgrain.
Dark blue cabinets in the kitchen fit that popular modern farmhouse style we all love with white marble countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The stove is tucked behind the stairs and next to the wall leading to the bathroom. Two shelves are on the wall already, but you could add additional storage here if you need it.
To the left of the front door are the refrigerator and sink area. There are only two shelves on that far wall, but plenty of room above the window and above the refrigerator for additional shelves and storage.
At the back of the home is the bathroom. This space is unfinished, but only a bit of work needs to be done to make it complete. It currently has an unfinished shower, this shelving system, a compost toilet, shelves on the wall, and room for additional storage if desired.
If you wanted a traditional flush toilet could also be added to this home, but a compost or incinerator toilet are both options that are easier to take off-grid.
The front space of the home has these gorgeous windows letting in a ton of light and room for a small sofa or a few chairs. It’s not a large living room but it is spacious enough to hold a little seating for your comfort.
You could even add a small futon or daybed here to use as a sitting space during the day and sleeping space at night. This would work perfectly if you had small children. While a 16′ home may seem too small for a family, it can work with a few adjustments.
The loft sleeping space upstairs is cozy and open with room for a twin, full, or queen-sized mattress. Windows on all three sides bring in natural light, and there is room for a few storage shelves or cubbies here also if desired.
With the view down into the living space, you can see tons of windows with light, gorgeous lighting fixtures, and of course, a lot of space for added shelving and storage all around the home. It’s a lovely build with more than enough room to be a comfortable home for any single individual or couple.
