With its contrasting white trim and gray siding, the Grand Teton instantly commands attention. The prominence of the trim draws the eye instantly to the home’s huge windows.
When you order the Grand Teton, you can choose a custom Sherwin Williams color for the LP Smart Siding.
The house features a standing seam metal roof. The roof color also can be customized with a handful of different options. The roof pitch along with the material is great for shedding rain and snow, so you can park this home in any climate.
The bayed out windows are perfect if you have a property which offers scenic views. Plus, as you will see when we step inside the home, the bayed out shape helps to really open up the interior.
In the 2019 tour of the Grand Teton, we shared a furnished version of the house. But in this updated 2022 tour, we are sharing an unfurnished version. The reason is that this really gives you an idea for just how much open space awaits you in this light-flooded tiny house! While you can order the Grand Teton with furnishings, you can also always skip that option and handle your own furnishings. There are so many ways you could customize all this floor space!
In the kitchen, you can choose whether you want black or stainless steel appliances. You can decide as well whether you would like a dishwasher or not. If you forgo the dishwasher, you get extra storage space. You can move the kitchen island around as you see fit.
The two windows you see above the kitchen look into the loft. While you have the option of having a railing here instead of a loft, we love this style! It is the perfect balance of privacy and connection between the two spaces.
In the hallway behind the kitchen, you will find a large area for storage with adjustable shelving.
There is a second door back there before you reach the downstairs bedroom. If you have no use for that door, you can instead have a washer and dryer placed there.
The bathroom offers generous storage space. There are three mirrors you can open to reveal storage along with additional cabinetry above the toilet. A large linen closet stands beside the shower. Also, note the lighting under the mirrors!
The drop floor in the bedroom and the recessed headwell make the downstairs bedroom feel extra roomy. You can get the queen-size bed you see here included with the home if you like. Notice that there is ample storage space in front of the bed and above it.
Finally, a flight of steps leads up to the split loft.
Because you have two sections to the loft, you have extra flexibility for how you use them. Ideas include a second bedroom, one or two storage areas, a home office, a hobby space, etc.
