I have seen quite a few photos of this tiny house on the web. It’s so unique that it is hard to miss. Is it a cloud? Is it an outlet on the wall? A tiny house? Perhaps a work of art? I did some digging and found out that indeed, it is a tiny house!
The house has gone a bit viral, and a lot of people share it without correct attribution. I eventually managed to hunt it down, and I have discovered that it is actually a tiny lodging which you can book for a night known as “Le Nuage.”
How fabulous would it be to be able to tell everyone that you got to sleep in a cloud? An extraordinary experience that is sure to make everyone envious!
Unsurprisingly, “Le Nuage” translates to “The Cloud.” And this tiny home, not just looks like a cloud but is in a rustic location that makes you feel like you are just enjoying life floating on air.
The tiny lodging is located near a dramatic bridge, in France, surrounded by beautiful trees. Perhaps you’ve wanted to visit Paris but weren’t sure where to stay? While this isn’t in Paris, it could be a part of your vacation in France. A lovely journey and fun addition to your itinerary.
Here you can see it reflecting beautifully in the water. It contrasts well with the trees around it, instantly standing out.
Inside, it is distinctive, but not quite as unusual as you might’ve expected. If you enjoy bunk beds, you will be very pleased with them. The top bunk is enclosed, so sleeping in it would be a bit reminiscent of the capsule hotel experience.
While it is truly minimalist, it is also ideal for families. Kids will love staying in the bunks, and that outdoor space is perfect for them to run off the extra energy before bedtime.
That opening is ideal for kids to crawl through for an “adventure” sleep!
The clean lines and blonde wood throughout are beautiful and make it all the more welcoming. I love the slits for windows and the seamless design that makes it feel large and open while also being minimalist in all of the best ways.
What I really like about the beds is how they feel cozy and enclosed, but not at all suffocating thanks to the ample amount of light and air coming in from the side and through the windows.
They also offer a wide sleeping space which would be comfortable for just about anyone. It certainly looks as comfortable as sleeping on (or in) a cloud. Drifting off here would be a magical experience like no other.
Seriously, I wish I could stay here on my next vacation! While it is not a traditional tiny house in any way, it is a beautiful way to create vacation time in a fun new manner. Just beds in a unique structure, this is not a home with a kitchen and bathroom, but an elevated camping option that can add inspiration to your tiny house dreams!
