Aggregated Stacks Proves You Can Make Storage Out of Anything

This post will be a brief one, since it’s not actually a tiny house—instead, it is a storage solution which I think would work great in a tiny home.

Aggregated Stacks Proves You Can Make Storage Out of Anything
This cool set of shelves called “Aggregated Stacks” was created by Andrea Zittel, a designer who has worked on a variety of design projects, including tiny houses.

Looking at them, maybe you can guess what they are. Each is a cardboard box which arrived in the mail with supplies which Andrea ordered. Because the boxes were in good condition and reasonably sturdy, getting rid of them would have been a waste.

What Andrea did with them is phenomenal. The way the different sizes and of boxes are stacked together is artistic and unusual, and stands as a functional work of art.

It all goes to show that you do not necessarily need fancy or expensive materials in order to create beautiful, useful storage. Since cardboard boxes come in so many sizes, they can also be arranged to fit into any layout.

If you like Aggregated Stacks, check out the rest of Andrea Zittel’s works.
