Zyl Vardos is a custom tiny home builder in Olympia, WA that’s becoming known for gorgeous one-of-a-kind tiny houses displaying his impeccable craftsmanship. The Damselfly is one of his latest homes and it’s absolutely stunning with a unique roofline and all cedar exterior. Sculpted trim and rafters adorn the home and show off the level of skill of the builder. Take a look at this piece of art priced at $99,500.
The home’s front door features a round window with stained accents arching across the handmade door. Another round window is set into the rafter over the entrance and gorgeous tiles line the roof.
Inside, the home is covered in lightly stained wood with a curved ceiling and exposed beams. Built-in furniture and storage are found throughout the home and large windows let natural light flood inside. The home’s open concept makes this a great home for one to two people to live or vacation comfortably.
A small area is across from the kitchen and is perfect for a small sofa and side table. We also love the small window that can be popped open to let fresh air breeze through the room.
Across from the sitting area is the kitchen with a beautiful window setting as the focal point. Slate countertops sit over custom wood cabinets with a compact refrigerator on the end. The double-basin copper sink is another lovely touch to the home.
A Shoji-style sliding door provides privacy for the bathroom without feeling too bulky for the small house. Next to the bathroom entrance is a wide staircase with handrails leading up to a loft that can fit a twin-sized bed. The small bedroom is crowned with more of the rounded windows.
The home’s bathroom is well designed with subway tile floors, a custom vanity with a small copper sink, and a full-sized shower stall. There’s also a traditional toilet that could be switched out for a composting toilet if preferred.
The bedroom has semi-privacy thanks to an 80” tall armoire with tons of storage space inside. The shelves even pull out for easy access to items in the back of the closet.
In the bedroom, you have a full-sized bed on a platform with storage underneath. Across from the cozy bed is a 40” HDTV with a pivoting mount making it easy to view even from the kitchen.
