When a couple comes together to design and build their dream tiny home, it’s a beautiful thing! Jesse and Shelley got the help of Tiny Idahomes to build their perfect home on a gooseneck trailer and we think it’s pretty perfect! But don’t take our word for it, look inside for yourself!
This tiny home is built on a large gooseneck trailer and even has three pop-outs!
The exterior is a charred wood finish with white accents and a metal roof. We wouldn’t mind relaxing inside on a rainy night in this home!
They even designed an awning to provide shade when they’re parked.
Inside, the ceiling is shiny corrugated metal and has an arc to it which gives more height to the whole home.
On one end of the home, the couple designed a built-in couch inside a nook. The bench can be lifted for extra storage inside. We think this would make the perfect cozy reading nook!
Custom built cubbies are along one side of the wall and are perfect for baskets to hold items that you want to store out of sight.
The walls were kept white to highlight the rest of the home and keep the shiplap-look and feel which is very in right now.
Looking down the hall, you can see into the kitchen which is fully equipped for cooking! The large fridge is tucked into the wall under the stairs and there’s a gas cooktop with an oven as well.
Look inside their huge fridge! That’s much bigger than what you normally see in tiny homes!
The counter tops are butcher block wood which is great for prepping on as the tiny cuts and scratches add to the desired patina over time.
You also have plenty of cabinet storage and counter space thanks to the creative design of this kitchen.
To the side of the kitchen, a staircase leads up to the bedroom that’s found over the gooseneck of the trailer.
The bedroom has a closet and extra storage.
There’s plenty of room for a large mattress and even some built-in cabinets if wanted.
Back downstairs, the bathroom has a tub and shower combination that was custom built from corrugated metal.
There’s a sink with storage underneath and a toilet.
The living area off of the kitchen has a ladder leading to a loft that’s perfect for another bed or even just for extra storage.
This couple worked hard to make this tiny home fit all of their needs and we have a feeling they’re going to be happy in it for a long time!
