When a fitness-minded couple came to Blue Ridge Tiny Homes in Barnardsville, North Carolina they had one goal in mind: to design a home that allowed them to work out together in. Not just any home though, they wanted a tiny one! The builders came through for them in a huge way and designed a tiny house with a climbing wall, climbing rope and bars, weight storage, and a pneumatic transforming table! All of that tucked inside (and on the outside) of this great looking tiny house!
Size: 330sqft
Location: Barnardsville, North Carolina
Availability: Private Owner
We love the natural wood siding next to the bright green metal roof!
Inside, the house still has everything you need to live comfortably including a wood burning stove and a complete kitchen. We love the natural walls and how they go with the wooden countertops and cabinets in the kitchen!
The kitchen has tons of closed cabinet storage and a two burner stove top built-in next to the stainless-steel sink.
The bathroom has a tub and shower combo that the couple can soak in after a hard workout. There’s also a washer/dryer combo and built-in storage.
This tiny house is big on storage with creative spaces like this pull-out drawer/step.
The living area has a built-in bench with a comfy cushion and storage underneath. You also have a small storage loft and room for a dining table. We like the multiple tones of wood in this space and the character that it brings the home.
The stairs to the loft are next to the couch and they have open storage in each step.
Upstairs in the loft, you have large windows that can be popped open to let fresh air in. There’s also a built-in nightstand and wall sconces to save floor space.
The area is big enough for a comfy bed and a nightstand on both sides.
The pitched roof adds plenty of head room in the loft and gives room for a small ceiling fan over the living area.
Outside, the couple has a large storage shed to store weight equipment and larger items that they don’t want or need inside.
This FitNest suits all of the couple’s needs and more! We love how the builder listened to their wish list and made it a reality.
