We’ve found a tiny house for sale in Salida, Colorado that’s going to make someone very happy! The exterior of the house is covered in cedar shake which we can never get enough of! It makes the house look so welcoming and warm.
All of the details in the house are exquisite but we can’t move on from the Cedar Shake quite yet! Here’s another look at it. We love how it looks next to the white accents and metal roof.
The home is built on a double axel trailer and has 300 cozy square feet inside.
The front door is antique and was handpicked by the couple to add character to the tiny house.
Inside, the first thing we noticed were the reclaimed hardwood floors with the kind of patina that only time can bring. We also love that you have a clear view to the back of the home so your eye keeps moving.
The living room is painted a cheerful yellow and has room for a small couch or this antique chair. Can’t you imagine sitting there next to the large picture window with the fan keeping you cool?
In the kitchen, the cabinets are a mixture of beautiful wood tones with mint sides and bright yellow backsplash. We love how happy it makes the little kitchen feel!
Not only do you have cabinets, you even have drawers on along the base for extra storage. There’s also a moveable ladder that tucks out of the way or can be attached to the rod to access the loft bedroom.
The bathroom door is another antique find and inside you have a toilet closet.
Across from the toilet is a shower stall with plenty of room to move around in.
We don’t have a picture of the loft but the couple had a queen-size mattress set up and still had room for additional storage space.
