Tiny House Chattanooga builders were contacted by a traveling artist couple with the hope that they could help design their ideal tiny house on wheels. Working on a design based on the Nooga Blue Sky model, the team created a 24’ long home with 275 square feet inside that was completely customized to meet their needs.
The exterior of what they call the Outlander is wrapped in lightweight gray siding with red corrugated metal accents. There’s even a place to store they couple’s kayaks over the gooseneck trailer hitch!
Inside, the home has white wood walls with rustic wood accents and beautiful hardwood floors. The open floor plan makes the home feel spacious and gives you room to move freely throughout the areas.
The kitchen is in the middle of the home and it has custom gray cabinets with butcher block countertops and a compact stove and oven combo.
A compact refrigerator was built into the cabinets in front of the bathroom and was raised up for easier access.
We really love how all of the stains and paint go together in the kitchen!
A sliding barn door blocks off the back of the trailer which houses the bathroom and laundry room. The washer and dryer combo is set into a nook on top of a cabinet. Next to it is a shower stall made out of corrugated metal.
A slim pedestal sink is just outside the shower as well as a flushable toilet.
The bathroom also has a large storage cabinet built into the corner to hold your toiletries and linens.
The home has two loft areas, one for storage and the other is a larger bedroom. The sleeping loft is reached by a large staircase which has built-in storage under the steps. The storage loft is accessed by a ladder which hangs on the wall when not in use.
The living area is a wide-open space on the front of the trailer with the storage loft overhead.
The sleeping loft has room for a queen-sized bed and even has built-in storage on the far wall.
