This small home looks like something a hobbit would live in and we can’t get enough of it! It’s built by TKP Architects out of Golden, Colorado who are known for their interior design and award-winning architecture. Looking through these pictures, it’s easy to see why!
The home is nestled into a grassy hill and surrounded by beautiful trees with a stone pathway leading to the door.
At dusk, the windows cast a golden glow that makes you wish you were inside this adorable home.
Just take a look at this entryway! The round door, the stonework, the wood! It’s so perfect and looks like something straight out of a fairytale.
The home has sweet little round windows surrounded by stone.
Even the grill is built into the stone wall.
Once you’re inside, the magic just continues. The fireplace is surrounded by stone and the warm wooden floors and exposed beams give a nice rustic touch. The light green built-ins are a great accent, too!
The small kitchen area off of the living room has an island and a full-sized sink. Space is saved by having a built-in buffet seating area. And did you notice those huge sliding glass doors? We also can’t get enough of the chunky wood around the windows and door frames.
Here is a close-up of the great front door. We love how it’s rounded at the top! And they did another built-in by the front door for coat storage.
The kitchen area also has a desk area with a double window to let the air in while you work.
Instead of a chunky ladder, the builders opted for a unique metal ladder that takes up minimal space but allows you to get to the loft.
The loft is big enough for a large sleeping area. We love how they kept the wood natural in here!
Back downstairs, there’s a surprise waiting for your guests. Inside the light, green built-ins next to the fireplace is a murphy bed! Once it’s pulled down, it makes for a cozy spot next to the fireplace.
The bathroom features a modern concrete sink and another adorable round window.
This shower is gorgeous! We love the shimmery tiles and how big it is! They weren’t worried about saving space when they put in this beauty!
This home is truly beautiful in all of its details. The exposed beams and frames add texture and warmth to the cozy home. And the stone fireplace has built-in nooks and crannies. Such a unique and special small home!
