We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: Tiny Heirloom produces gorgeous tiny houses that we simply can’t get enough of! One of their latest builds was for their client, Karin who wanted a tiny house based on her full-sized home with the goal of traveling the country with her granddaughter. The result is an adorable tiny house with gray siding and tons of curb appeal.
You can definitely tell that this tiny home was based on a traditional house with its dark shutters and porch lights. The home has an inviting feeling which is very fitting for a grandmother’s home.
As you enter the home, you step into the living room with a full-sized couch and a wall-mounted TV. The walls are covered in shiplap painted a light gray color with white trim and accents. The hardwood floors also have a gray tone but still add warmth to the open floor plan.
A small desk area is built next to the couch and on the other side is the impressive staircase. Glowing lights illuminate your path and there are also built in storage areas in most of the steps including a wine rack and a serving tray!
The kitchen extends down a long wall and is nicely equipped with dark gray cabinets, a marble countertop, and an oversized stainless steel farmhouse sink. A full-sized cooktop and oven are on one end of the counter with the refrigerator set below the staircase across from the sink. It’s not only a functional kitchen, it’s also beautiful with herringbone tile on the
backsplash and polished hardware on the plentiful cabinets and drawers.
The bathroom is past the kitchen and features the same gray cabinets as in the kitchen but with a white vessel sink and tiled backsplash. A combo washing and drying machine fits below the countertop and you also have a toilet and shower stall.
The home has two separate bedrooms, the first is over the living room and is perfect for the owner’s granddaughter to have her own area in the home. A twin-sized mattress fits nicely and there are windows for ventilation and light.
The master bedroom is larger and has more privacy thanks to the large built-in storage wall that. There’s plenty of room for a king-sized bed in the loft and several windows that let fresh air in.
Once again, we’re left in awe by the craftsmanship and quality that Tiny Heirlooms delivers with each tiny house. If you’d like to check out some of their other models, visit their website at http://www.tinyheirloom.com/. You can also follow them on social media at:
