This barn-style tiny house measures 12 x 24 feet, and is currently available for only $12,000. Describing its features, the seller writes, “Double loft, fully insulated, wood floor, pioneer heat/AC, & propane instant water heater. Fully furnished, just needs a toilet.”
With its rural look and its large sheltered porch, it is just adorable! Let’s take a look at the interior!
Wow, this is honestly much more than I expected for $12,000. The interior is simple, Spartan, somewhere between rustic and industrial in flavor with its corrugated metal ceiling and simple butcher block countertops. But it already feels pretty homey and inviting. The kitchen is on the left, the bathroom on the right, and a ladder takes you up to the loft. I don’t see a door for the bathroom, but a rail is already waiting for you to install a sliding barn door.
Breaking up the white walls and cabinets are a couple of cabinet doors painted dark blue under the sink. Of course, you could paint the interior however you wanted.
The same shade of blue featured in the kitchen is also featured on the loft. Directly across from the kitchen and bathroom is a table and chairs beside the front door.
In the bathroom is a beautiful vessel sink and a mirror which opens to reveal a medicine cabinet. In the back is the shower. Again, you will have to install a toilet yourself if you purchase this home.
In the loft, you can enjoy the corrugated metal ceiling and a cool industrial light fixture. It looks like a queen size bed will fit up here.
