As the tiny house trend has taken off, we have seen some incredible homes go on sale complete with appliances, often in excellent condition. Not everybody who tries the tiny life sticks with it. Their loss can be your gain. If you are interested in a beautiful 26’ tiny house at a great price, this one on sale in Austin for $40,000 is looking for a new owner.
With its gray siding, this 26’ tiny house has a modern appearance.
That gray exterior hints at the color scheme inside the home, which also consists of gray interspersed with white. It has a similar effect as black and white, but less harsh on the eyes. It is the perfect balance between sharp contrasts and a softer appearance.
The kitchen features countertops on either side with a deep farmhouse sink with a high faucet. Past the kitchen is the bathroom. The kitchen shelving is minimal, maintaining the openness of the cooking space and also fitting in nicely with the contemporary/industrial vibes. The most eye-catching feature is probably the cool industrial light fixture.
Why is there no stove? The reason is that originally, this tiny house was constructed as an AirBnB lodging, not a fulltime home. There is a water heater, so the running water isn’t cold.

The loft is easily the most remarkable feature of the tiny house. Because it is situated so low, it feels more like a downstairs bedroom. The back wall is dominated by shelves on the left and a very large closet on the right.
