In the market for a “good as new” tiny house? This one for sale in Clovis, CA, was built by KJE Tiny Homes in 2017. The current owners say that they only have lived in it for five months, so it is practically new and unused. This means that you are getting a beautiful home in excellent condition at a phenomenal price of only $59,500.
These measures 28 feet long by 8 1/2 feet wide, and is 13 1/2 feet tall. It features two lofts measuring 7 feet and 9 1/2 feet. The trailer that home is situated on was custom-built. The beautiful siding is made of cedar, and the roof is metal. R13 denim insulation keeps the interior comfortable throughout the year.
While the house has a very minimalist, modern “rectangle” design, the builder has thought to slope the roof to help shed precipitation.
The living room features an entertainment center and electric fireplace, and in the background, you see the kitchen with one of the two lofts above it, both of which are reached by ladders. While the materials in the home are rustic (including pine interior walls with bead board and hardwood floors), the overall design is modern.
The kitchen features the sink and apartment-size fridge along the back wall with the kitchen cabinets and countertops wrapping around to the right where you also see the oven and cooktop.
The kitchen includes a large sink with a divider in it and a high faucet for easy dishwashing.
The cooktop almost blends in seamlessly with the countertop. The minimalist, open shelves to either side of the window barely intrude on the wall space when they are empty, and maintain the openness of the kitchen.
The walls are painted white to contrast with the dark ceiling and trim.
Across from the kitchen on the opposite side of the home past the living room are the stacked washing machine and dryer. Beyond them, you can see the entrance to the bathroom.
To either side of the electric fireplace and above the large flat-screen TV are open shelves.
You have to look closely in this photo, but you can see that there is a fan spinning around that overhead light.
The loft located above the bathroom and laundry area appears to be the larger of the two, and intended to serve as the bedroom.
A compact vanity in the corner of the bathroom leaves the remaining space open for the toilet and shower.
The toilet is a flushing model. The shower, with its beautiful tiles and glass door, looks to be a luxurious one.
