The ideal comfortable tiny home vacation is in the heart of Florida just minutes from Orlando. The Venice is a stunning home that easily sleeps three, has a nice sized loft, full bathroom, and tons of large windows for natural light and enjoying gorgeous sunny summer days in Florida. If you are looking for a home away from home for your next vacation, look no further!
Stepping into The Venice, one of the first things you see right away is the astounding amount of windows. While most tiny homes have a lot of open window spaces, you’ll usually see more wall space. Not in this home. It is all about the windows in this tiny home.
While long and narrow, you’ll find this tiny home has plenty of comfortable space. You’ll notice the doors and windows take up a lot of wall space, but that doesn’t keep you from having everything else. There is a nice sized kitchen, a full bathroom, TV, couch, and even a snuggly fireplace!
The kitchen is one of my favorite parts of this tiny home. It is at one end of the home so the full width of this house. You have a nice sized kitchen counter space that runs the width of the home and has plenty of room for your needs.
On one wall you see a simple utensil storage strip right next to the toaster, microwave, and coffee pot. A 4 burner stove with oven is easy to access right next to the dishwasher. Of course, you’ll also appreciate the extra cabinet space for utensils, paper goods, and of course, food and extra pantry supplies.
To help divide the space, the sink and bar area is just across from this back kitchen counter. It jets out halfway from the exterior wall but gives plenty of room to move around. While small, this is truly a fully functional kitchen and dining space.
On the opposite side of The Venice you will find not just the living space, but see the loft bed and of course, the bathroom on the end. Your large doors on one side lead out to parking and the lovely lake, and of course, you have ample windows above the couch.
While the little couch is small, it is the perfect size for seating to relax and watch a movie, view the sunset, or snuggle together and read a good book. I especially love the addition of extra pillows. So often rentals just don’t have enough pillows!
The shelf next to the couch is the perfect place for the built-in fireplace for those cool evenings. Of course, there is added storage space above it for books, decor, and more.
On the side of this cabinet, you’ll notice the industrial pipe ladder. This is so cute! A fun way to get up to your loft bed at night that also offers a fun decor accent. I love this industrial style! It really fits great into this home.
Through that door under the loft, you will walk right into this absolutely stunning bathroom. The beautifully tiled shower is truly a luxury in a tiny home. I am absolutely in love with this color scheme. While it may seem a bit masculine for some, it’s truly just stunning!
A large round mirror above the ample vanity is ideal for putting on makeup in the morning, and the full-sized toilet really makes this feel like a luxury home and not a small tiny home on the lake.
I’m especially fond of the nicer fixtures like this faucet. These little additions really make a huge difference in the way a tiny home feels and looks.
Step up into the loft to find this absolutely stunning place to snuggle up at bedtime, or lounge with a good book. I am in love with the round windows, and the addition of outlets and lamps on both sides of the bed makes this super functional.
This space is definitely small for a “bedroom” but is ideal for sleep and lounging with a comfortable full-sized bed.
Check out that view! Looking down from the loft you’ll see that fun garage door that opens up from the kitchen out onto the patio. Notice all of the added tile work throughout? The walls and floors have beautiful tile extras. These definitely add to the luxury feel of this home.
This is not just another bed you rest in overnight. It is a dazzling experience! Superhost Gabriella will amaze you with her cozy tiny house.
The Cricket is a rustic historic cabin in a small neighborhood on Spring Street along side the rushing Clear Creek and nestled among an Aspen grove.
Serenely situated between Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, Tiny Haus has been custom built by an award winning architect to capture the beauty of the natural surroundings.
Step out through that garage door that leads to the patio and find a lovely multi-leveled space for lounging. With chairs, benches, and open areas, this is ideal for grilling a meal with your family, watching the kids play in the grass area near the lake, or just soaking up some sun on a typical gorgeous Florida day.
