Pratt Homes has designed a large catalog of beautiful tiny houses, and I am only now just discovering them. So I am delighted to share their “Seaside” tiny house with you today.
This home was designed with a beachy look and feel, and has a large, comfortable shaded porch where you can enjoy the salt breeze—or whatever atmosphere you’re in.
It is easy to picture the layout for the house just by looking at this one photo wherein we see the kitchen and the living room beyond. With the lower ceiling in the kitchen, each “room” is very much its own space, even though each runs seamlessly into the other. A soft, neutral color scheme would make this space easy to personalize.
I have been noticing a surprising lack of ovens in a number of recent tiny houses. But that is certainly not a concern with this house, which has what looks to be a huge oven underneath the range and microwave. Across from these appliances is a farmhouse style sink with a high faucet.
There is a very small table pressed up against the wall. In this photo, you can see the reason for the lower ceiling in the kitchen beyond defining the space as separate from the living room. It also allows for a larger loft space overhead.
There is a large couch in the living room along the wall with the windows, in front of it a small decorative table. Stairs lead up along the right-hand wall to the loft.
There is a pleasing contemporary vibe to the home, and it looks like it’d be an amazing place to live—especially if you enjoy cooking and have always wanted a spacious, beautiful kitchen.
