In search of a tiny house with a big porch? One home which is sure to fit the bill is the Meadowview tiny house by Pratt Homes.
The tiny house features a huge wraparound porch, providing an abundant amount of outdoor space. There is even an outdoor fireplace with beautiful stonework, making the porch ideal for entertaining guests or simply relaxing and enjoying nature, even on a cold day.
We can begin our tour of the Meadowview tiny house in the kitchen. Both the kitchen and the combined living room are surprisingly spacious in light of how much of the home’s footprint consists of outdoor space.
The kitchen includes a cooktop, wide microwave, and a deep farmhouse sink along with extensive counter space and cabinetry. There is an extra-large window above the sink, providing superior illumination of the workspace.
Stepping outside, you can really get a feel for just how roomy the porch is. It is completely covered, so unless the wind is blowing sideways, you could stay dry even if it were raining or snowing. There is room not only for a large table and chairs but also for additional seating on the wraparound portion of the porch.
A flat-screen TV has been set up at an ergonomic level. From the living room, you can step into the bathroom.
Another look at the kitchen shows off the large freezer and fridge.
Like many other homes by this builder, the Meadowview tiny house has a downstairs bedroom! Sliding barn doors enclose a set of cabinets while enhancing the rustic look of the home.
Here’s a different configuration for the kitchen which includes a different freezer and fridge and a kitchen island. Note how the construction of the kitchen island makes it possible to slide the stool under it, maximizing available for space.
Here we have another variation on the bedroom and the sliding barn doors.
Going back to the first configuration and set of furnishings, here you can see the other look for the living room, and you can appreciate the pleasing contrast between the walls and the ceiling.
The contrasting walls and ceilings are lovely here too, just with an inverted color scheme where the ceiling is darker and the walls are light.
Here is yet another look for the kitchen. It is the backsplash which grabs attention here.
A tall mirror in the bathroom makes getting ready for the day easy.
In any configuration, this is a beautiful home.
