New Market, Alabama is a small town just outside of Huntsville that’s full of charm and history including this next tiny house, The Winchester Manor. This picture-perfect home was lovingly restored by a young couple and then opened up to guests as a rental but years ago it was used as one of the first post offices in North Alabama. With a quaint exterior and a dreamy interior, you’re going to want to find a reason to visit this small town just to stay in this tiny house with rates starting around $100 a night.
The tiny house is located through a gate and off of a brick courtyard nestled in a garden and covered in ivy.
Thick trim and craftsman elements add character to the home over the front door.
Inside, the home is exquisitely decorated and designed from the herringbone brick floor to the pale blue shiplap walls and creamy trim. Antique furniture is placed throughout the tiny house and a large comfy bed adds a romantic touch for guests.
The windows are covered by mini plantation shutters to allow light to seep through while still providing privacy.
The home has two entrances which can either take you to the courtyard or give you access to downtown New Market just outside the door. A small dining table in the hallway makes the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning before you head out to explore.
Just inside the main door is a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and coffee pot. The cabinets are stocked with kitchen essentials for your stay.
The bedroom has tall windows to let natural light in and an antique green chair that adds a pop of color and history to the room.
The bathroom is a luxurious surprise for guests with a large soaking jetted tub for relaxation. The tub is surrounded with tiled walls and can also be used as a shower.
We think this couple did an amazing job restoring this historic tiny house and giving it a second life!
