When Custom Container Living designers decided to turn a plain shipping container into a tiny house, they wanted to make it even more special by adding a rustic touch to it. This tiny house is absolutely incredible! It’s 40 feet long and has a total of 380 square feet of gorgeousness inside.
They wrapped the outside of the container with wood to give it a warm exterior and added French doors for extra light and openness. Several windows were also installed to keep the interior full of light.
Inside, the floors have a rustic wood finish which looks great next to the white wood walls. The windows and beams are made from barn wood to add to the charm and character of this tiny house.
The living area is big enough for a small couch and table and it flows nicely into the kitchen. And look at that adorable wood burning stove on the wall! It keeps the house warm without being an eyesore!
Here’s a closer look at the cute stove.
This is the living area with the rolling door pulled down. The barn wood accent wall adds so much warmth to the area!
Right outside the kitchen is a small table that can be popped up when needed with built-in seating. We love all of the barn wood in this tiny house, too! Look at how pretty and warm the accents and even the ladder is!
The kitchen features a refrigerator, stove, and high-end granite countertops! The oven and stove are a nice full size so you can spread out when cooking. You have tons of closed storage and countertop space for all of your utensils, dishes, and even small appliances. We also like the touch of the metal ceiling in here!
Here you can see how much storage you really have in the kitchen! Also, look at all of the details like the subway tile backsplash and even the barn wood accent wall in the distance!
The bathroom is on the other side of the kitchen and it has a composting toilet and a pretty sink area with storage below.
On the other side of the living room, stairs lead up to the bedroom area which is really incredible! You have another barn wood accent wall as well as storage below the platform. And look at the ceiling! It has so many great elements with the metal, wood, and unique light fixture!
Over the kitchen is a loft area which can be used for another bedroom or for a storage. You have windows running almost the entire length of the loft as well as a custom light fixture which adds to the rustic feel.
