One of our favorite builders is at it again with the Ayn, a lovely cedar tiny house ready to find a new home on a mountainside. Measuring 8 feet wide and 36 feet long, the home has 288 square feet inside plus a loft. The exterior of the Ayn sports the company’s signature cedar lap siding with stained cedar trim.
What you can’t see from the outside is that this home is fully insulated in the floors, ceilings, and walls so you’ll stay warm and toasty in every season and climate.
Inside, the home has a great layout with wood siding and laminate flooring throughout the home. Double-paned windows also help with insulation and let natural light flood in for a bright interior.
The living area is on the front of the house and is surrounded by windows and glass doors. You have enough space for a large couch or futon.
On the other side of the living area and in the heart of the home is a split kitchen with tons of storage and countertop space. Compact appliances make this a fully equipped kitchen.
The bathroom is between the kitchen and bedroom and is completely functional with a flushing toilet, sink and vanity area, and a beautiful custom tile shower.
Also in the bathroom area is a small laundry nook with stackable washer and dryer machines and a built-in storage area for toiletries and laundry supplies.
The bedroom is through the bathroom and has enough room for a large bed and a dresser. You even have a closet in the room! Just above the bathroom is a loft accessible through the room and which can be used for storage or even for another sleeping area.
