The “Blue Oasis” is a 28-foot-long tiny house that was built by Modern Tiny Living for the Go Siesta community in Sarasota, Florida. This adorable home is an homage to the old lifeguard houses that were found up and down the beach and to the beach community as a whole. The house was painted a bright blue on the exterior wood siding with crisp white trim and a tiny front porch.
Inside, the home was kept mostly white with gray-toned wood accents and hardwood flooring throughout the home.
The completely custom staircase leads to two separate lofts and also has tons of built-in storage in the form of cubbies and cabinets.
The Blue Oasis has an open layout and can sleep up to six people which is pretty impressive for such a little guy!
The living area is towards the front of the home and has a futon that can fold out to make a bed. There’s also a large TV mounted on the wall.
The home features a large kitchen with a long countertop and an oversized stainless steel sink with an industrial sprayer/nozzle.
A long singular floating shelf gives extra storage space as do the shelves on the opposite side of the kitchen. There’s plenty of space here to make a quick meal before you get back out to the beach!
At the end of the kitchen is the master bedroom which features an abundance of windows and just enough room for a queen-sized bed. With extra-tall ceilings, though, you won’t feel claustrophobic in this bedroom!
This home features two separate lofts, one which is really made to be a guest room while the other is more for storage.
The Blue Oasis has everything you need to hit the beach with your family! And at an average of $149 a night, it’s a steal!
