Known as the “Love Shack”, this adorable tiny house is located in Rosendale, New York and is available to rent through Airbnb. The purple cabin is completely off-grid and eco-friendly with an outdoor bathroom and surrounding trails for hiking and biking. Rates start at $90 a night and include a delicious breakfast prepared by the host.
We love the fun exterior of this house with its purple accents and shingles. The porch is intimate with seating for two and a tiny cherub greets lovebirds as they come up the steps.
The outdoor bathroom is definitely a unique feature of the house and it features a composting toilet and outdoor shower. The only downside is that it’s not available during the harsh New York winters and so guests use the bathroom in the main house instead.
Inside, the home is colorful with blue walls and purple trim and even more colors are brought in through the décor. A cozy bed sits in one corner with dining for two across from it.
If you’re traveling with a child or extra guest, there’s a small loft over the bed with a cozy mattress.
The tiny house doesn’t have a kitchen but it does have storage for your suitcases and clothes.
An outdoor area is set up around a fire pit with comfortable chairs and a small dining table for eating under the stars and trees.
