Perch and Nest is a company out of North Carolina that specializes in designing and building custom tiny houses with special attention to craftsmanship and details. The Peponi is one of their latest homes that was built on a 24’ double axel trailer with beautiful cedar siding.
An unexpected pop of color was added to the French doors for a fun entry to the home.
Inside, the home has an open layout with rustic wood siding and wood floors. The guest loft is over the living area and can be reached by a ladder that can be tucked away when not needed.
Soaring ceilings, large windows, and a ceiling fan keep the home feeling bright and fresh all day long.
The living area is spacious with room for an L-shaped couch and extra furniture.
Since storage is always an issue in tiny houses, the staircase leading to the main loft has built-in cubbies and drawers in each step.
Upstairs, the main loft has plenty of room for a large bed and with all of those windows, it stays fresh and bright.
The bathroom has two unique features that are completely custom to this home. A foldable “spa bench” was added over the toilet and a hand patterned clay vessel sink was placed on top of the custom vanity. Both touches make this home truly one-of-a-kind.
