TexZen Tiny Home Company was started when a family couldn’t find their ideal tiny house and so they designed and built their own. From that experience, they started their own line of tiny houses with three models including the Open Concept tiny house that we’re sharing with you today. The home has a sleek modern look with a slanted roofline and tons of windows on all sides of the home.
The long overhang on the front of the home serves as a porch covering for the small deck below.
Wood siding is accented with a metal roof and skirt for a clean look.
One of the company’s mantras is “Affordable/Moveable/Sustainable” and so all of their models are built on wheels using quality materials and extreme attention to detail.
Inside, the house is full of light thanks to the many windows that were added to the home. The kitchen is spacious with wrap-around cabinets and a sleek refrigerator. A built-in table is at the end of the cabinets eliminating the need for a separate piece of furniture. Open shelving was used instead of upper cabinets which makes the room feel large and airy.
The custom cabinets give you plenty of storage and you also have compact appliances so you can prepare meals with space to spread out on the long countertops.
High-end finishes and fixtures were used throughout the home giving it a luxurious and custom feel.
The bathroom features the same cabinets and countertops as in the kitchen with tons of storage for your toiletries.
The full-sized bathroom has a flushable toilet, tub/shower combo, and a laundry nook with a stackable washer and dryer.
This model doesn’t have a separate sleeping area so you would need to have a sleeper sofa or futon in the living area that you can pull out at night.
