Global Tiny Houses is a talented firm based in Scarborough with some lovely homes for sale, one of which is now on sale for around $10,000 less than it was originally. Let’s take a look.
The home measures 24’ x 8’, and while it is referred to as “modern,” it has a definite rustic appeal. It features a full aluminum trailer and a sizable external storage shed on the back.
Simplicity is emphasized in the exterior design, but alternating vertical and horizontal lines in the wood helps to break up the façade a bit.
You probably guessed that the interior of such a lovely tiny house would be equally beautiful, but did you think it would be filled with this much light? The living and sleeping spaces are merged together in this house, making it ideal for one to two occupants. Soft, neutral colors create a calm, centered environment.
Standing in the bedroom/living room and gazing back toward the other end of the house, you can look through the kitchen to the bathroom, and you can also see the ladder leading up to the loft.
Just speaking aesthetically, this has to be one of the most beautiful tiny house bathrooms I’ve ever seen. There is a tendency for tiny house bathrooms to have a utilitarian look about them, but this one has some softness to it.
The shower is amazingly spacious. I am surprised, as I thought that only a small shower stall could fit in a house this size.
If you are in the kitchen preparing a meal, this is the view you can enjoy of the rest of your tiny house.
A four burner range awaits you.
A full-size refrigerator and freezer are located in the back of the kitchen next to the bathroom door.
The loft offers the room you need for an extra bed, or you could use this space as a storage area.
What else should you know about this exquisite house? It features shiplap walls, butcher block countertops, a hookup for a washer and dryer, an oscillating fan, a propane heater, a tankless water heater, and industrial-grade shelves. At its reduced price, it costs $49,900. Interested? Learn more at the Global Tiny Houses Facebook page, or contact [email protected]
