Recently I shared a cool cubic home with you from Nomad Micro Homes, called simply, “The Nomad Cube.” Today I want to share another of Nomad’s tiny house designs with you, this one called the “Nomad Micro.”
Like the Cube, the Nomad Micro is also cubic in shape. It is however smaller in dimensions, measuring a mere 10.5′ x 10.5. It is a less expensive option than the larger Cube.
The Nomad Micro has both a main floor and a loft:
Here is a conceptual rendering showing the Micro from the outside.
The sloped roof is what provides sufficient room for a loft.
The living room and kitchen are beautiful! Of course, what is really mind-blowing here is that amazing staircase. One of the steps is actually that cabinet! Most of those above it are free-floating, and are designed in an aesthetically similar fashion to the neighboring shelves so that they blend in. They almost look more like art than anything, but they are fully
functional and keep the space from looking at all crowded. The wall space is kept as open as possible.
You do get a sense of just how tiny the home is from this angle, but the big windows and glass doors prevent any feeling of constriction.
Check out the surprising amount of space in the loft!
The Nomad Micro is way awesome! Be sure to visit Nomad Micro Homes at their official site here to read more about the Micro or order your own.
