The MH by Wishbone Tiny Homes is a phenomenal-looking tiny house built on a 24’ trailer. The exterior of the home is unique with a mix of cedar and poplar siding and a red metal roof. It’s easy to see that this is a home that’s set apart from your cookie-cutter tiny houses!
Inside, the home is stunning with reclaimed barn wood on the ceilings and used on other accent areas like the island and staircase. The walls are a lighter wood which keeps the home from feeling too dark or closed in. The layout is mostly open and is kept warm by a small wood burning stove that’s tucked next to the kitchen cabinets.
The living room is on the front of the home and has a built-in padded window seat which can be used for buffet seating at the fold-out dining table. The home has plenty of natural light throughout thanks to the multiple windows that line the walls both high up and at eye-level.
The kitchen is in the heart of the home and it has long countertops with open storage sealed by curtains. The countertops are custom made of wood which goes well with the rest of the home’s wooden accents and features.
The kitchen is well equipped with a compact refrigerator placed on a platform and a full-sized oven and gas cooktop across from the deep sink and stainless steel faucet.
The home takes advantage of the large staircase by working storage into each step. A combo washer and dryer machine were even fit into one of the larger openings with a tall closet next to it.
Upstairs, the loft is open and spacious with plenty of natural light and a soft carpeted floor. You have enough space to fit in a king-sized bed or you could do a queen-sized bed and have room for side tables.
Back downstairs, the bathroom is off of the kitchen and you also have a separate nook area that can be used for seating in front of the sliding window.
The bathroom is bright with light wood siding and tile accents. It features a composting toilet and an impressive shower with a partially wooden surround.
