This post is the second of a three-part series introducing you to the charming tiny houses at Live a Little Chatt in Chattanooga, Tennessee; the community is at the foot of Lookout Mountain and aims to give visitors a taste of tiny living while visiting the quaint town of Chattanooga. Designed by young entrepreneurs, the tiny community has a laid-back vibe with jaw-dropping views.
The Old Blue Tiny House is a charming farmhouse in miniature form that’s covered in cedar shingles with wood siding and white accents
Our favorite feature on the exterior has to be the light blue handcrafted Dutch door off of the large deck.
Inside, the home has white shiplap walls, stained tongue and groove ceiling, and old-school light fixtures which all add up to some major southern flair. The dark hardwood floors and metal piping accents add warmth to the home and keep it from feeling too dainty.
The living room has a futon that can be pulled out to make a guest bed and a small dining table with wood stools that slip underneath when not in use.
The kitchen is quaint with robins-egg-blue cabinets and a huge farmhouse sink set into marble countertops. A separate tiny table can be used for solo dining and open shelving hold mugs and wine glasses within easy reach.
Across from the kitchen is this cozy reading nook with its own porthole window. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a book on a lazy afternoon!
The home’s bathroom features a flushable toilet, sink vanity, and a full-sized shower stall with a grain sack shower curtain.
The Old Blue tiny house is perfect for families because it has two lofts! One has a twin XL mattress while the other has a full-size mattress.
