If you are traveling anytime soon near Balm Beach in Ontario and want to stay in a tiny house, think about checking into The Little Blue Bunkie. This tiny inn is just ten minutes away from the beach on foot, and is located on a quiet residential street.
With its dark blue siding, white trim, and bright red door, the house has classic charm. With its diminutive stature, it is absolutely adorable, don’t you think?
Out back there are a couple of chairs and a table where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors (of course, you can also just head to the beach nearby).
After dark, just light the fire pit and chat late into the night with your family or friends.
The interior of the house is pretty basic, but it has plenty of quaint appeal. You have to love that triangular corner shelf. There is also a pull-out coach here which can be converted into a bed.
As with many other tiny houses, this one makes use of a loft to offer additional sleeping space.
The kitchen actually looks to be surprisingly spacious. It is hard to get a feel for scale with this photo, so it may just be the layout which is creating an illusion of space. Either way, that is a lot of countertop to work with, so if you feel like cooking up a storm on your vacation, you can.
The bathroom is simple but functional.
I missed this in the other shot of the loft ladder. There is a little fireplace here! And yes, it is fully functional. What a remarkable surprise.
