Blue Forest designs tree houses which are fit for adults and children. Indeed, some of their treehouses, like this one in Nottinghamshire, can serve as both simultaneously.
Called “A Leafy Home,” this garden retreat has some obvious playhouse features on the outside, like the climbing net which can be used in lieu of the staircase to reach the top deck.
Ropes integrated into the exterior provide the house with an almost nautical effect. The walls of the home are made from timber and the shingles are cedar, keeping a natural, rustic feel.
But once you step inside, you will see that this is far more than a child’s playhouse. Children could have an amazing time here, but there is also plenty of space for grownups to entertain family and friends. There is even a flat-screen TV for relaxing afternoons and evenings. Another nice feature is the window-seat in the back, which is both comfortable and well-lit from all sides.
