An Ohio man built a completely custom tiny house for him and his wife with the help of a general contractor. They lived in the home comfortably for a year and a half but are now wanting to plant roots in a community so they’re selling the 266 square foot tiny house on wheels for $70,000. Check out this energy efficient, one-of-a-kind tiny house!
The exterior of the house is very modern with corrugated metal on some sides and wood slats on the ends of the home. An angular roof line adds visual appeal on the outside and increases your ceiling height on the inside.
Inside, the home features custom woodwork and Marmoleum flooring with plenty of natural lighting through the large windows. To make the home energy efficient, LED lighting and Energy Star appliances were used and the home could actually be converted to solar power by the owners fairly easily. The living area is in the center of the home with built-in furniture and
plenty of room for a large TV across from the sofa with hidden storage.
The kitchen wraps around the back of the home with custom cabinetry that has a high-end look. Compact appliances including a refrigerator, cooktop, and oven make the kitchen fully functional and a long countertop can double as a dining or work surface.
A queen-sized mattress is found in the sleeping loft over the bathroom area and has a large skylight that faces the bed for star gazing.
Below the loft is a bathroom with a standard-sized shower stall, composting toilet, and a sink and vanity. There’s also a closet area with room for a dresser and a nook for a combo washing and drying machine.
While the owner has loved his time in this tiny house, it’s time for it to find a new owner and life! If you’re interested in seeing more details about the home and talking to the owner, check out the listing at https://tinyhouselistings.com/listing/ohio-12-thow/.
