Handcrafted Movement is a company out of Portland, Oregon that has built some of the most beautiful and high-quality tiny homes that we’ve had the pleasure of sharing with you in the past. Their newest model is joining that class thanks to its gorgeous details and craftsmanship. This home measures 28 feet by 8.5 feet and can sleep up to seven people. Pricing starts at $77,000 which may seem steep, but quality like this doesn’t come cheap!
The exterior of the home features board and batten siding with Pacific Cedar accents for an attractive look that catches your eye. A metal roof tops it all off and the multi-level roofline keeps things interesting.
Inside, the home is absolutely stunning with white shiplap walls, an architectural ceiling, warm wood accents, and custom features like a handmade light fixture in the middle of the home. The home is bright and airy thanks to the many windows that line the front of the home.
The handmade light fixture is one-of-a-kind featuring Edison light bulbs and a branch. It adds a unique flair to the home with a soft glow for lighting in the evenings.
The living room features a custom couch made out of canvas and leather with storage built into the arms of the couch. There’s also a dainty shelf extending up the wall over the couch for small items.
The couch has large compartments under the bench to store bulky items. A long panel hides it all easily and lets you access it by sliding the panel into the floor of the room.
Across from the couch is a fireplace and TV mounted on a swivel so it can be positioned to be seen from almost anywhere in the home.
Past the living room is the master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and built-in storage. The headboard of the bed features live-edge wood set back in a small alcove with a wide window and farmhouse lights. We love everything about this room including the tiny twinkling lights above the bed.
The bed also has storage compartments under the mattress for books, shoes, and other personal items.
Sliding doors give the bedroom privacy and reveal storage behind them for hanging clothes. When open, the TV can be swiveled to let you view it directly from the bed by opening the cabinet up.
The second bedroom is in the loft over the master and is accessed by a ladder hooked over the TV. There’s room for a king-sized mattress and a wood railing provides safety when moving around.
The third bedroom is over the kitchen and is much like the other loft with access by a ladder and room for a large mattress.
A small dining area is next to the couch with built-in seating around a butcher block tabletop. A small storage closet is next to it for hanging clothes and shoes.
The kitchen runs down the middle of the home with pale blue cabinets and butcher block countertops. Copper handles on the cabinets add a fun touch and a small farmhouse sink sits in front of the large window. A stove and oven are at the end of the counter with a full-sized white refrigerator across from it.
Open shelving made out of reclaimed wood, a copper backsplash, and tile accents all add style to the otherwise white kitchen walls.
Past the kitchen is a compact but beautiful bathroom featuring a custom cabinet with a porcelain sink, a tiled backsplash, and round copper mirror above it. Cubbies are next to the sink for linens and toiletries and a sliding door opens to reveal a laundry area with space for a combo machine and supplies.
There’s also a full-sized shower stall and flushing toilet in the bathroom.
