When Chris and Jessica made the leap to commit to tiny house living, they enlisted the design and build help of Tiny Idahomes. Together, they designed a gorgeous trailer built on a gooseneck that is reminiscent of a horse trailer thanks to the cherry wood and white accents.
This home has two pop-outs to give extra room over the gooseneck.
Want to see what they did with the extra room? They designed a wall that’s perfect for entertaining! With custom built-ins and a large space for a TV, you can spend hours curled up in front of this fireplace!
The two pop-outs are perfect for this large custom cabinet and the open area can be used for seating.
Back downstairs, the small ladder leads to the kitchen and laundry area.
There’s a washer/dryer combo and plenty of room for a table that can be used for sorting laundry and then for eating too.
The kitchen is absolutely huge for a tiny house! There are a ton of upper and lower cabinets made from dark wood.
The sink can even be covered with a slab of the counter to give extra space for cooking. You also get a full gas cooktop and oven.
The hallway from the kitchen leads into the living area with more custom built-ins.
This slim bookcase is perfect for extra storage without taking up too much floor space in the hall!
The bathroom has a huge tub and shower combination finished in white to go along with the wood and white color scheme.
There’s also a pretty sink with closed storage underneath.
In case you need even more storage, there’s a tall storage unit next to the toilet.
In the loft, there’s a built-in bed frame with a sunken portion for the mattress.
We love how the wood looks around the bed area!
There’s also a large extension off of the bed area for storage or you could put more built-in cabinets or shelves.
All of the hardware and doors were kept dark and natural looking which really added to the rustic feel of this tiny home.
