Usually I feature tiny houses built for adults to live in, but I just have to share this children’s playhouse in Buckinghamshire with you. Because aside from lacking some basic amenities (i.e. a kitchen), you could live in it. You would certainly want to at any rate.
Known as the Faun’s Realm Treehouse, this playhouse was designed by Blue Forest, a firm which specializes in treehouses.
Why walk up a boring staircase when you can approach the door using a narrow bridge?
Opening the door and stepping inside, all I can think is, “This was built for kids?” What a spot to escape to!
The window seat looks ridiculously cozy.
The house was inspired in part by the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, combined with inspiration and ideas from the children the house was commissioned for.
So naturally this wardrobe is a perfect addition …
Seriously, what amazing parents! Having a tiny playhouse like this to grow up in would do so much to spark a child’s imagination and nourish it.
