The Cayman by Tiny Innovations is billed as “A Tiny Home for the Whole Family.” It is the largest of the homes the company has designed, and is fully customizable when you order it. In fact, Tiny Innovations writes, “Design your own Tiny House. If you want something we don’t offer, just put it in the comments.”
You can purchase the Cayman in any of four sizes. The smallest version is 34’ feet long, while the largest version is 45’ long. The Cayman is also available in 38’ and 40’.
The exterior siding on the Cayman consists of board and batten with knotty pine. This company goes out of its way to ensure that you will be comfortable, warm and dry, incorporating features like WeatherSmart or DuPont Tyvek HomeWrap to protect the home from moisture and coupling it with closed cell spray foam insulation.
The interior of the home features knotty pine tongue and groove cladding. You get to pick the color for the trim (you also can opt for a color of your choice for the exterior of the house). The wall offers space across from the sofa for a large flat-screen TV, while a big window above the sofa fills the living area with natural light.
At the rear of the home past the kitchen is the bathroom, while a set of steps leads up to the loft.
In the kitchen, the first feature you will notice is the large farmhouse sink. A pull-down head on the faucet gives you the flexibility you need to wash anything with ease.
You also will notice the oven and cook-top, which are fueled by propane. In addition, there is a stove hood vent above. Other appliances include a stainless steel fridge and a hook-up if you want to install a washer/dryer unit.
Because this is a larger tiny house, it is ideal for a growing family.
The loft is incredibly roomy, offering enough space that you can actually fit in two beds if necessary.
There are no bathroom photos, but I can share a few details with you. In the bathroom, you get a 36” vanity and a 36” shower as well as a dual flush toilet with a round bowl.
If you want to make your home more energy-efficient, you have the option of outfitting it with solar panels. Other features which help to conserve power include LED lighting and Milgard Styline vinyl windows.
