The Pond Cottage is a 400 square foot tiny house sitting on mostly undisturbed land looking over a pond in Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. The home’s exterior is covered in cedar shake shingles with a large front porch and a gabled roof.
Inside, the home has a large living and dining area in the front of the home. Built-in banquette seating fills one corner of the room and you also have a desk and a full-sized couch that can be made out into a bed for guests.
One of our favorite features of the home is this extra-deep window seat that features a full-sized mattress! It’s the perfect place to cozy up with a book, catch a nap, or for a guest to spend the night. And it’s all surrounded by the beautiful pine siding with peeled branches for trim.
The entire home is kept warm and toasty thanks to this wood-burning stove.
The back of the home is divided into the bathroom and kitchen with a large loft on top. A queen-sized bed is in the loft giving room for a total of four to five guests in the home.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove/oven combo, and tons of cabinets. A large sink and plenty of counter space make sure you have all the room needed to prepare meals.
This tiny cabin gives you the opportunity to enjoy the serene beauty of nature away from the stresses of life while resting more than comfortably inside.
