Those people are missing out on one of the most luxurious tiny homes that we’ve ever seen, though! Known as The Cubby, this home was designed by famous architect Bernard Maybeck who is known for many fabulous buildings around the San Francisco Bay area. He believes that architecture should add to its surroundings and it shows in this tiny work of art!
Nestled under a gorgeous tree canopy, this welcoming home features all of the amenities you’d expect to find in a luxury home four-times the size such as walk-in closets, a washer & dryer set, and a huge deck!
Once you step inside, the first impression is one of openness with the unobstructed floor plan and tall ceilings. The kitchen features huge windows and a full-size gas top stove and oven and even a dishwasher!
Look at those gorgeous floors! And how often do you see a huge fireplace in a tiny house? This living room gives plenty of room to enjoy your guests or relax by the fire with your loved ones.
The live areas are completely open to each other and are designated by the thoughtful placement of area rugs and furniture. And take a look at those exposed beams!
Here’s another view of the kitchen with the incredible cooktop! Clever storage on the wall frees up counter space.
A small dining table is tucked into an alcove until it’s needed and then easily pulled out for dinner or a card game.
Upstairs, there’s a cheerful yellow bedroom with a queen-sized bed and lots of sunlight from the huge doorway and cute window.
And here’s something you don’t usually see in tiny homes: a walk-in closet! There’s ton of room for all of your clothes and even extra storage.
Oh, and did we mention that there’s a separate master bathroom? As in you don’t have to share with guests?? It even has a huge tub and full-sized toilet! We love how the subway tile looks next to the bright yellow wall.
This bedroom is simply dreamy! But wait until you go through those doors!
Outside of the bedroom doors, there’s a private porch to relax among the trees!
