Have you ever thought how much easier it would be to focus on your work and be happy and productive in your own tiny mobile office or studio? Well, now you can. B&B Micro Manufacturing, the company which brought us such gems as the Arcadia, now brings us the Brodie.
The Brodie was designed with a simple, unobtrusive look so that it could fit in well with any surroundings.
The slant of the roof serves two purposes. Firstly, it helps snow to slide right off, making the house ideal for cold climates which get a lot of precipitation. Secondly, it provides for more openness inside.
While this tiny house is marketed as an office, you can see that it has every comfort you would expect from a full-time home.
It is also delightfully airy and spacious.
If you get hungry during your workday, you have this beautiful kitchen space available to you! Preparing a meal here would be easy. What a stunning countertop and backsplash.
Gazing through the window while you work, you can take in the scenery.
This photo shows off the beautiful texture of the countertop.
Another angle makes it easier to see where the kitchen fits into the layout of the room.
The office includes a bathroom as well.
Simple décor brings color, warmth and hominess to the office environment.
Skylights bring in extra light through the roof, though plenty comes in through the big windows.
Here is the desk in the back corner. The placement of the desk means that most of the office is simply open space.
The warm wood tones work beautifully with the decorative accents. The pillow with the yellow dots in particular brings some cheeriness into the space.
One thing which I really like about this office is the elegant minimalism of the furnishings as well as the décor. Because the space is bright, clear, and tidy, it would make for a bright, clear, tidy disposition while working in it. This could boost productivity and reduce mistakes.
Even though the intent of this structure is to serve as an office and not a full-time home, to me it is easy to picture living in here. There is plenty of room for a couch or a bed, after all.
A few seating options are available, if someone wishes to visit the office and sit next to the desk.
A monochromatic color scheme keeps the décor in the bathroom simple and clean as well.
This bench doesn’t exactly look comfortable to me, but it is aesthetically pleasing.
I really dig these tree branch decorations on the wall. They contrast so well with the broad white space around them. Each of them appears as abstract sculptures, even though they are natural works of art.
This runner made of fur adds to the warm brown hues which help create the inviting atmosphere of this office. These warm colors can be contrasted with the cold corporate colors which are common in traditional offices.
This close-up photo of the backsplash shows you all the different tiles with their unique colors and textures, which combine for a beautiful effect.
I’m not totally certain what the function of the tray on the countertop is, but notice how it has the same yellow dot pattern as the pillow which is situated on the bench next to the desk.
Sitting at this desk and working in this lovely environment, one imagines that day-to-day business would be very relaxing.
Along with the utilities in the bathroom and kitchen, the office includes an electric in-wall heating system. If you wish to customize the house, you have the option of relocating the entry door, and putting in a porch measuring 4 feet. That way you have some outdoor space where you can relax and enjoy your surroundings.
The Brodie Mobile Office/Studio starts out at just $39,000. For an added price, there are numerous customization options that you could consider to make this office truly your own. Learn more by dropping by B&B Micro Manufacturing.
