Nestled in rolling green countryside is The Little Barn, a stone cottage in the UK that is designed for comfort, relaxation, and the ideal retreat. A kitchenette, open living space, bedroom, and bathroom make it the perfect tiny house vacation.

The Little Barn is a stone cottage that is surrounded by stunning views with big open skies, mountains in the distance, and the classic beauty of the UK countryside.
While the exterior may be old and give you the vibes of a weather worn cottage of years gone by, the inside of this destination is upscale and modernized for your comfort.
A long building makes it similar to most traditional tiny homes. You’ll find a kitchenette on one end, living space in the middle, bedroom and bathroom on the opposite side. It’s a perfect layout for a weekend getaway that is cozy and rustic.
A sofa lines one wall with windows above and all around for plenty of sunlight. The kitchenette has a deep farmhouse sink with tall fauce, plenty of cabinets and storage drawers, an oven and simple cook surface that is ideal for simple meals.
This isn’t a layout for gourmet meals, but is great for a morning brekkie, cup of coffee, or even reheating leftovers of a meal out. The small table against the wall can be left folded down or pulled out for more space and is perfect for that romantic getaway.
I also love the simple rocking chair included. It just screams a cozy space for reading a book or sipping coffee.
Little details are what make this an inviting space. It’s the addition of a wire rack for holding coffee, sugar, and of course, those wine glasses for a late night sip. The addition of flowers on the window seal make it just feel like home.
Along with a television for your convenience, the living space includes a little wood stove that is ideal for colder evenings. I can just imagine a winter night snowed in with a great book in front of this fire!
The cozy bedroom space is a the ideal place for a great night sleep after hiking around the property. A custom reclaimed wood bed and storage unit are perfectly complimented with the fluffy white comforter and red accents.
You’ll have gorgeous views out the window but at night, overhead lamps make it easy to curl up with that book to read until sleep claims you.
I love that they added all the details. The little succulent pots bring life to the space, and the windows open easily for a cool breeze on a summer day.
There are even extra storage drawers under the bed for linens or if staying longer, your own clothing.
At the end of the room, tucked behind a pocket door, is the cozy little bathroom. Everything you need under one roof and in the luxurious beauty of the countryside.
Tile lines the bathroom for ease of cleaning, and just check out that use of space with the corner toilet. Genius!
While it is a true tiny house, you aren’t without the little luxurious and comforts. The shower and bathroom in general are small but have a unique spa-like feeling to them.
Of course, we cannot share this without showing you the beauty outside the cottage doors. A fire pit and chairs welcomes you for a cozy evening chatting.
Serve up brunch just outside the doors with a lovely stone “table” built-in for ease of use.
The tiled “yard” just outside the doors helps keep floors clean and is the perfect match to the stone exterior and roof of the cottage.
Prop a little table and chair set out back for a lunch on the patio!
Or gather your supplies and take a hike for a picnic in the grass.
The options are endless. Whether you stay indoors or explore the region, one thing is certain. You will feel right at home.
Breathtaking views, comfortable spaces, and a unique rustic stone design make The Little Barn cottage the ideal destination.
