The Oregon Trail is a simple yet stunning tiny house with an open floor plan that’s totally customizable to fit the customer’s needs. It has the company’s trademark woodwork from the hardwood floors to the tongue and groove ceilings. The open concept layout makes this home a great option for a couple that likes to entertain and cook.
The exterior of the house features wood siding that can be customized to your preferences for color and a shingled roof. You could definitely opt for a metal roof if you prefer.
Inside, natural wood covers the walls, ceiling, and floors adding warmth and texture to the home. We love the beauty of the wood grain that’s individual to each board!
The living room has a large built-in bench and storage area that can be used as a couch with a padded seat or even as a dining table. Built-in shelves give you a place to store your items and you also have a small storage loft overhead.
The long kitchen is tucked into the corner of the house and has large cabinets for storage. This model went with a stainless steel countertop for a modern effect and had a mini-fridge, stove, oven, and microwave installed making it a fully equipped kitchen!
A small but efficient bathroom is off of the kitchen with a composting toilet and shower stall. This model has a compact tub as well.
The loft is over the kitchen and has a double dormer giving the space beautiful lines and plenty of headroom and natural light. There’s room for a king-sized bed and the ceiling gives you a pretty place to gaze as you fall asleep.
This model also has the option for putting a bedroom on the main floor by rearranging the layout a little bit.
