Donna is a homeowner close to downtown Atlanta, Georgia with a home that’s been recognized by historic societies for its authenticity and commitment to the Victorian era. When she decided to convert her unused garage space into a tiny house, she knew that she would have to do it in a way that stayed true to the home’s roots. The final product is a darling home that she’s now rented out since 2014 and which she named in memory of her wolfhound. Take a look at Natasha’s Suite!
The entire property is kept safe by a six-foot iron fence and security system for peace of mind in the downtown area. Guests are given a remote for opening the gate during their stay.
The tiny house is entered from the lower level of the garage. Inside, the walls and trim are all tainted blue-green with tile floors and wood trim.
A winding staircase takes you up to the main living area of the tiny house and a door leading off of the stairs takes you out to a private balcony.
On the main level, the house is bright and open with large skylights that let natural sunlight stream in. A long bar stretches out in front of the kitchen giving guests a place to have a meal or work on a laptop.
The kitchen is fully-equipped with white cabinets and a tiled countertop with blue trim that matches the rest of the home. You also have a stove, microwave, cooktop, refrigerator, and dishwasher!
This kitchen gives you everything needed to prepare a meal during your stay.
Gorgeous pocket doors lead to the bedroom which features a built-in platform for a king-sized bed and wall-mounted nightstands.
There’s also a desk area and more skylights in the bedroom.
A large Victorian-inspired bathroom is on the main level and it’s stayed true to the era with a clawfoot tub and scrolled metal accents.
A laundry room is off of the living area with wire racks for storage.
The second bedroom is on the lower floor and was once the actual garage. However, when the owner realized how unused it was, she converted it into a spacious bedroom.
The lower floor has another bathroom with a stone shower stall and pedestal sink. We love the sliding door that was chosen to save space!
