Norbert Juhász and his fiancé Dora recently chose to desert their normal life in downtown Budapest and travel the world to purse Norbert’s photography profession and passion. In order to have the freedom to do this, they decided to buy an old and unassuming cargo van and convert it into a fully functioning tiny house on wheels. While the home is definitely compact, it surprisingly has everything needed for the couple to live comfortably while traveling.
It’s hard to believe that this boring and slightly beat up van contains a bright and modern home inside its walls!
The couple started with these humble beginnings and designed their ideal home consisting of three main pieces of furniture and solar panels on the roof of the van.
Inside, the three sections of furniture are the kitchen, couch, and an L-shaped cabinet. The kitchen unit is small but mighty with a sink, gas cooker, and countertop for cooking.
The couch unit also serves as the bed for the couple and it hides the electrical system beneath the cushions as well as a storage compartment.
The third unit is an L-shaped cabinet which serves multiple functions. The lower part of the cabinet is used for extra seating if the couch is being used. Inside the cabinet, there’s a refrigerator and more storage space above!
Norbert and Dora are loving their life on the road in their van turned tiny house!
