Eddy is an architecture enthusiast living in San Diego who stumbled upon the Tiny House Movement in 2014. After watching videos of other tiny house owners building their dream home, he decided to do it for himself. His tiny house on wheels is wrapped in stained wooden clapboards with maroon accents and a small detachable front porch.
Inside, the home has a traditional tiny house layout with a loft above the kitchen and a small living room in the front of the home. What’s not traditional though are the custom touches he put in like the handmade door leading to the bathroom.
The living room has a small storage loft above the front door and a low padded bench across from the wall-mounted TV. There’s also a dining table that can be folded flat against the wall when not in use.
The kitchen is in the center of the home and is full of custom features like the wooden countertops, black subway tile backsplash and a really interested hood vent over the stove.
Cabinets are on both sides of the kitchen and there’s a mini-fridge below the sink with stairs extending above the cabinet to the loft.
Speaking of the sink, the owner made a custom cutting board that can cover the sink with a funny reminder on it to watch your fingers when chopping!
The bathroom has a corrugated metal shower stall in it as well as a toilet and sink.
