Vanessa and Jared have a love for traveling and want to be able to pursue that passion without going broke. Also, Vanessa is a former chef currently getting her doctorate and Jared is a Navy survival trainer with tons of gear so when they decided to build a tiny house they knew they needed the help of the professionals at Tiny House Nation. Their home ended up providing all the space they needed plus a chef’s kitchen in just 280 square feet! It even has an attached vertical garden and grilling station!
The living room is spacious with a custom couch featuring storage below and room to seat three guests. A metal ladder next to the couch gives a place for container gardening indoors which was important for the chef of the house in order to have fresh herbs.
The kitchen was a major factor for the couple and so it includes a full-size gas stove and oven, as well as a refrigerator and plenty of countertop space for meal prep. A deep sink with an industrial nozzle was another must-have as was plenty of cabinet space.
The home has two lofts, one of which is used for guests and then there’s this spacious master loft. Long windows on both sides of the room let in natural light and fresh air and a storage locker at the foot of the bed gives them a place to store clothes.
Back downstairs is a massive bathroom featuring tiled walls, a glass corner shower, and an area for the washer/dryer machine. This is a huge bathroom for such a tiny house!
