When searching for tiny houses to share with you, we have to admit that some of the most beautiful and serene settings we’ve come across have been from other countries like this next one in Spain. Designed by Churtichaga+Quadra-Salcedo Arquitectos, this home blends with nature beautifully and truly invites the great outdoors to come inside through massive openings that are revealed by large platforms when extended.
We love that the home is unassuming and void of anything too fancy. Instead, it lets Mother Nature be the center of the stage and we love it!
The long walls can be closed off by sliding glass panels or opened up to create an indoor/outdoor living space.
Inside, the home is sparse with sleek furnishings and hidden storage areas that blend with the home’s wood surroundings. A living room is on one side of the large living space with a dining table separating it from the kitchen.
Everything in the kitchen is made to blend in with the wooden walls so you can barely tell where the cabinets, drawers, and appliances are but they’re all there!
The living room is spacious with plenty of room for sitting around the cozy fireplace.
A long narrow hall leads you to the bedrooms off of the kitchen.
The bedrooms are also sparse with little decoration as you can see here. Wall sconces give you light to read by at night and a skylight lets you gaze at the stars while drifting off to sleep.
The second bedroom has a single twin bed with a built-in bookshelf running the length of the bed.
The third bedroom has built-in bunk beds with extra-long twin beds and a desk area across from the beds.
On the other side of the home is a separate living space with a library with carpeted floors and room to spread out while reading your favorite book or playing a board game.
This unique home proves to us that you don’t need all the bells and whistles to make a beautiful home. Nature is more beautiful than anything we could ever create which is really what the tiny house movement is all about!
