We love it when new life is breathed into old homes and that’s exactly what was done with this 335 square foot 1940’s Fisher’s cabin on Tyee Beach in Washington! The tiny old cabin was completely remodeled in 2005 and it’s truly remarkable to see the difference raised ceilings, fresh paint, and new flooring can do! The home was also given a facelift on the exterior with cedar shake shingles and gray paint.
The back of the home looks out over the water and takes full advantage of the home with the addition of five glass doors that swing open to the large deck.
From the inside, that view is truly breathtaking and those huge doors give you all the fresh air you could ask for! The interior is basically one large room with the bedroom being open to the kitchen making it perfect for a romantic vacation or a solo getaway.
The bedroom features what appears to be an extremely cozy bed as well as an office nook in the corner. The bathroom is just on the other side of the bedroom which all features white wainscoting.
The bathroom is luxurious with travertine floors and a large jetted soaking tub. You also have a pretty pedestal sink and flushable toilet.
Back in the main room, your kitchen is fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, stove, and oven, built-in microwave and tons of cabinets. There’s even room for a small dining table for two!
There really isn’t anything not to love about this incredible renovation! It just makes us want to find an abandoned cabin and do the same!
